Church Leadership

The life of all Presbyterian churches is rooted in a deep faith in Jesus Christ. The life of our local congregation is governed through the work of the Session. Our Session is made up of 15 elected and ordained male and female elders from within the congregation, and is moderated by our pastor, the Reverend Dr. Geri Lyon. Our board of Deacons is composed of 18 men and women selected and ordained from within the congregation for special ministries of compassionate care.

All church activities are open to all members and friends of First Presbyterian Church. There are many ways to get involved in our worship, ministry,  social outreach, education and fellowship. New members are welcome and encouraged to volunteer their time and talents to our communal life.
